Dr. Sook Son-McIntyre came to United States from Korea when she was 9 years old. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley where she was honored as an "Alumni Scholar." She then received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Science degrees from the world renowned University of California Medical Center in San Francisco.

In order to keep current with the latest innovations in dentistry, Dr. Son-McIntyre takes over 160 hours of continuing education every year at the two dental schools in San Francisco, the University of California Medical Center and the University of the Pacific Dental School. In addition, she has spent the past two years undergoing intensive training with some of the world's leading restorative/cosmetic dentists at the prestigious Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education in Burlingame, California.
